With over 25 years’ teaching experience, professional singing teacher Hilary Selby brings her highly skilled, motivating and enjoyable approach to teaching children and adults, beginners and professionals.

Her singing students have won places with National Youth Music Theatre, National Youth Choir and Glyndebourne Youth Opera, been accepted onto undergraduate and postgraduate performance courses in the UK and abroad and achieved excellent results in ABRSM, Trinity, Trinity Rock and Pop, Rockschool and LCM exams.

I have had singing lessons with Hilary for two and a half years and I have really enjoyed all my lessons.  She is very kind, encouraging and supportive and uses these qualities to teach extremely well.  She is very experienced in her knowledge of singing, giving helpful  techniques to make the song its best.  Hilary taught me how to breathe in singing properly and control it on the long notes.  Overall I think Hilary is an amazing and enthusiastic teacher! Felicity, Year 7 student
